Snowboarding

Snowboarding evolved from skateboarding and surfing.  It involves descending the mountain while standing on a snowboard where the rider's feet are strapped into a set of mounted bindings. Snowboarders wear softer boots that fit into the mounted bindings. Adaptive equipment such as the ski pal, outriggers or tethers can be used with snowboarders.
