We are have begun to schedule our Program Dates for the 2024 Spring/Summer/Fall Sport offerings. Please check back again for updates.

 

If you haven't completed a Participant Registration in the past 12 months please follow the links below.  Be sure to discuss participation in sports lessons with Summit Adaptive Sports with your (your family member's) physician and receive a recommendation to participate prior to starting with us each season.

Steps to Register

Step 1

Complete the Participant Registration Form (link below) as the first step to complete your registration so that we can learn more about you (or your family), your interests and plan a positive lesson(s) experience. Registration is required to completed and updated every year. 
* If you are a Veteran or Member of the Armed Services who has a permanent disability please visit our 
Veteran Program Page.

Very Important
:  Once you complete the Participant Registration Form you should receive an immediate confirmation that it has been received and the next steps, which include completing waivers and if for snow sports, contacting the Welcome Center to book lessons after allowing us 3 days to process the registration.  If you have questions please email us at summitadaptivesports@gmail.com.

Step 2

Once we receive your Participant Registration Form, please allow 3 days for us to process it.  After that time, you will be able to reserve and book your lesson or program.

  • For skiing and snowboarding lessons: Once reservations open for the 2023/2024 season, please contact: Ski Sundown's Welcome Center at (860) 379-7669 ext. 211.

Step 3

If other waivers or forms are required we will send them prior to your first lesson.

Funding Adventures for All Abilities

Summit Adaptive Sports is committed to providing affordable programs that are accessible to all, regardless of one's financial situation.  Our goal is that cost should never be the sole barrier to participation. All current season program offerings and lesson rates are listed on our event page. Full or partial scholarships are available for all Summit Adaptive Sports program offerings.  These scholarships are made possible by grants and generous donors. Scholarship applications will be reviewed and awarded on a rolling basis until our scholarship funds are depleted.  If you are interested in applying please complete a Scholarship Application (in addition to the Participant Registration Form) and our independent review committee will contact you.

Join the Summit

Participating in sports provides lifelong opportunities for physical and mental development as well as opportunities for individual accomplishment and inclusive family activities.  Summit Adaptive Sports provides access and instruction in outdoor sports including alpine skiing and snowboarding to individuals with developmental or acquired disabilities.
