Our Vision

Our Values

Summit provides opportunities for athletes with disabilities to participate in outdoor sport programs for health, wellness and lifestyle enhancement.

Under our carefully trained volunteers, athletes will have access to programs that provide skills training, social experiences, and confidence.

Maintaining a welcoming environment for athletes, families and volunteers that fosters camaraderie, teamwork and the human spirit through dignity and respect for all is our top priority.

Making friends, increasing self-esteem, developing life skills, and providing positive experiences are a few of the benefits of our programs.

Independence, to the greatest extent possible, is always the goal as individuals gain experience in outdoor sports.

Together we are committed to coaching individuals to reach their fullest potential.

WELCOME TO SUMMIT ADAPTIVE SPORTS

Participating in sports provides lifelong opportunities for physical and mental development as well as opportunities for individual accomplishment and inclusive family activities.  Summit Adaptive Sports is a non profit organization that provides access and instruction in outdoor sports including alpine skiing and snowboarding to individuals with acquired or developmental disabilities.

Based in the rolling hills of Northwest Connecticut we are approximately 40 miles from Hartford, CT. We are excited to be offering our ski and snowboard program with Ski Sundown in New Hartford, CT.  Our team of volunteer coaches have many years of coaching experience, and the majority are PSIA-AASI certified.
